The MAGA Movement Makes Its Way to Yankee Stadium

For far too long Trump supporters have had to hide their support for our President.  In an area where Trump derangement syndrome runs rampant like New York City, you are literally taking your life into your own hands if you dare wear a MAGA hat on the street.  Trump supporters have been kicked out of bars, spat on in the street, and even beat up simply because they support the MAGA agenda.

Well, yesterday at Yankee Stadium the Trump MAGA agenda made its way to the heart of liberal land, Yankee Stadium.  A group of brave individuals had the guts to unfurl a large Trump 2020 banner from the luxury boxes near the right field foul pole.  This was met with mixed emotions as the liberals were obviously “offended” wondering just how someone could do such a thing.  On the flip side, many Trump supporters favored the idea that someone was actually willing to openly show his or her support for this President amidst the constant barrage of attacks from nearly every media outlet and many of the TDS victims around the nation.

While the Trump banner was greeted with mixed reactions, some took it to a new level calling out the idea of mixing politics with sports.  While I support this notion, it’s ironic because suddenly people seem to care about the intersection of politics and sports.  Where was this concern when football players in the NFL were kneeling for our National Anthem, which by the way has yet to be resolved as the NFL players union is fighting the NFL on their National Anthem policy.

If you want to keep politics out of sports at least be consistent!
