First off—Trump did not suggest injecting Disinfectant as a means to treat coronavirus!
The “news media” is at it again! As if we didn’t have more pressing matters to concern ourselves with they are running with yet another ridiculous narrative. In yesterday’s daily coronavirus briefing President Trump was surmising over possible ways to treat COVID19. A couple of the methods discussed were the use of UV light and disinfectant.
Of course, the minute Trump went on to speak about disinfectants and injections the media’s eyes lit up. They saw this as the perfect opportunity to create yet another unnecessary dumpster fire. And sure enough, the dumpster fires started mere minutes after the comments were made.
Headlines were ablaze with narratives such as…
Trump Muses About Light as Remedy, but Also Disinfectant, Which Is Dangerous—NY Times
Trump’s ‘Disinfectant’ Idea Shows Peril of Improvised Briefings—Bloomberg
Trump comments prompt doctors, and Lysol, to warn against injecting disinfectants—MSN News
Don’t inject disinfectant: Blunt pushback on Trump musing—AP News
Those are just a few of the headlines that have been devised by the “news media” over the past 24 hours since yesterday’s coronavirus briefing. Were the President’s words taken out of context? Absolutely! Even if you want to assume that he was speaking to injecting disinfectant into your body one would have to err on the side of common sense. One would realize that injecting disinfectant is simply not a good idea.
On the contrary, the media salivated over these remarks as yet another opportunity to let their Trump derangement syndrome run wild. Past Presidents have made off-color comments on all sorts of topics. Only now are these comments digested and regurgitated by a media that is disgusting through and through.
And not this is not a “what about-ism” as so many like to say. This is simply putting the pathetic news media in perspective. Exposing them for the frauds they are and the lack of objective reporting across the spectrum.
Furthermore, the media felt it necessary to issue statements speaking to the dangers of injecting oneself with disinfectant. So what we have here is a media that took the President out of context. They then feel the need to transform that narrative into a warning not to inject disinfectant. All in a veiled attempt to blame the President if someone is actually dumb enough to follow through with injecting themself with disinfectant.
