Governor Murphy: “Go To Another State”

These were the words uttered by the Governor of New Jersey following a news briefing this past Thursday — “go to another state.” The comment was made in response to criticism levied against the individual heading up unemployment in the state.

According to the Daily Voice,

Murphy’s dismissive remark came when asked by a reporter about Bergen County Assemblyman Kevin Rooney’s call for the labor commissioner to fix the backlogged unemployment system or resign. Earlier, state officials announced that more than a million New Jersey residents have filed jobless claims due to the coronavirus pandemic — but that 300,000 still had to be processed.

“Kevin is a good guy, a very good public servant. I consider him a friend, but Rob’s not going anywhere. This is a 500-year flood. . . .All I would say to anyone who thinks that: Go to another state’.. . .Rob’s doing a good job and he’s not going anywhere.”

Time To Take Back Our State

Governor Murphy’s comment is the epitome of what we are dealing with in New Jersey and many other big “D” democrat run states. The sheer arrogance should disgust every resident of this state. Democrats lecture us time and time again about how they know what’s best for us. If we dare question them then we don’t care about our fellow citizens and in some circumstances they claim we want others to die.

With big government democrats is complete government control or nihilism. What we are watching in NJ is the result of so called leaders drunk on power. Drunk on their ability to literally lock us down, restrict businesses from opening, and implement policies they otherwise wouldn’t be able to if it weren’t for the COVID19 outbreak.

Democrats are playing along with the long standing mantra — never let a crisis go to waste. They are exploiting the fear people have of this virus whether it be legitimate or not. As a result, They continue to feed us the “data” that suits their cause while leaving out more comprehensive analysis displaying the entirety of the outbreak.

We are coming to a tipping point here in NJ as are other states managed by draconian leaders drunk on power. It’s up to us to hold them accountable — our livelihoods depend on it!

  1. Question: Do you genuinely believe Murphy is telling people to leave New Jersey or do you just realize that you can spin it that way so it plays well for your politically?
